| About Us - Welcome to Kiwanis Club of Twin Cities! Making An Impact! Club meetings occur every Tuesday at 6:45 PM The Gallery Room (If The Gallery is booked we will meet in Trillium C which is next to the pool.) at the Delta Hotel at 105 King St E, Kitchener, ON, N2G 2K8, offering fun, learning, and fellowship. In addition to attending the meetings, a Twin Cities Kiwanian chooses which other projects and fundraisers he or she wants to be involved in. Service projects often are linked to the Kiwanis program, 'Young Children: Priority One', targeting the needs of young children. The Kiwanis Club of Twin Cities, Kitchener manages one not-for-profit apartment building for seniors and
one not-for-profit townhouse complex, Karlsberghaus - one of the largest Oktoberfest Festhalls, and also helps
with K-W Children's Charities, Victoria Park Christmas Lighting, The Ventures Colour Guard, The Dutch Boy Drum & Bugle Corps, Girl Guides of Canada, and Twin Cities High School Student Bursaries. The Kiwanis Club of Twin Cities, Kitchener
donated Kiwanis Park to the City of Kitchener as a Centennial Project in 1967 and continues to support it. Over the years, the Club has managed and added buildings and other capital improvements to the Kiwanis Park site.
Kiwanis also plays a special role in developing future generations of leaders. K-Kids clubs at the elementary school level, Builders clubs in middle schools and junior highs, Key clubs in high schools, and Circle K clubs at the University level all are Kiwanis sponsored organizations that teach community service and leadership skills to young people. In addition, Kiwanis also sponsors Aktion clubs made up of adults with disabilities. The Kiwanis Club of Twin Cities is proud to sponsor a Key Club at Grand River Collegiate and a Circle K Club at the University of Waterloo.
